View Full Version : Charlie, why does the log in procedure do this?

Sometimes, I go for weeks without having to log in and then all of the sudden, for about a week or so, it asks me to log in. I really like the part of NOT having to log in. Luckily, I remember my pw every time, but it's more convient to not have to log in.
Anyway, is it something I do, something you set up to do, or just some freaky thing that occurs once in a while???
Thanks Charlie (that is SO weird to write! I just saw Charlie's Angels Full Throttle!)...:D

Good question... I usually do not have to log in again unless I log out. It may have something to do with cookies on your PC. Which browser do you use? I'll try a couple that I have loaded on my PC to see if I can duplicate the problem.
Sorry that I don't have a better answer right now.

My browser sets all cookies to expire every 10, thus making me log back in again. Perhaps this is your problem?

Could be. I use internet explorer. The thing is though, it makes me log in for about a week, every time I return. I don't log out either.. Or I would just think it's a browser setting...
Then, like right now, it automatically remembers me, just like a good cookie.. hehehehe.. It'll remember for a week and then it will be back to being an eaten cookie.. hahaha...
Thanks Charlie. :)

It happened to me for a while too, then I found out it was my parents wiping the cookies on the computer.

It's a feature. Granted, not a good feature...but a feature nonetheless.
