Does "Charlie," Really Exist?

Anyone send email to Charlie or ask him to reply back with a reason for how he approached moderation in certain situations? Does Charlie exist?

I have had him answer emails before. Of course, it might not have been him. Might have been one of his angels. Or some guy named John saying he was Charlie.. Who knows.. :D

Well, to answer your question I must ask another.. Does Chewie live on Endor with 3 ft tall Ewoks? Do WMD actually exist? Find the answers to these questions and you will solve the mystery of the Charlie.

Or you can get suspended from the board and then write a nice letter to him which he will answer about a week later, but is it really him????

Consider the following: In the book "2001: A Space Odyssey", written by Arthur C. Clarke, Discovery merely uses Jupiter as a gravitational assist in order to get to Saturn quicker. That's right, I said Saturn.

In 2010, HAL and Discovery were destroyed by the ignition of Jupiter, but not before HAL was saved by Star Child Bowman. Since we know that computer programs can be copied, and we also know that HAL already exists (2001 was two years ago, people. The government just neglected to tell us about the monolith 'cause it was transmitting in Arabic), means that HAL v2.0, after his incident at Saturn, has come to Earth and is now hosting a board about Saturn.

It makes perfect sense, just like the message in my Cheerios, "Oooooooooooooo". Obviously a note from the Letter O.

I haven't figured out if he exists or not- He gave out his e-mail address one time in concern to getting some hi-res picks of the redline vue he had, I emailed him twice about it and he didn't respond, so the third time I tried to e-mail him I used microsoft outlook's "please acknowledge you've received this" tag and that never came back either. So either he doesn't check his e-mail, he isn't talking to me and clicked no on the received verification box, or he doesn't exist...

To start off... I do exist, I have an angel, and I do my best to respond to emails in a timely manner. But sometimes it takes me awhile to get through them all (I get hundreds each day -- some real, most are spam). If I haven't responded to your email, it probably means that I just haven't seen it yet. I've been travelling a lot for work lately and fighting a bad cold at the same time. Once I week I try to go through my Inbox and respond to all the messages that I hadn't gotten to yet. I am always open to talking about the rules of the forum, and why I did what I did. I value everyone's input, afterall this is your board!

This thread proves that Charlie has a good sense of humor as well as being hard working and fair minded.

I wonder not if he exists, because we have exchanged email a few times, I just wonder when he sleeps. This board is only his part time job and he reads EVERY message.

His initials are indeed CE. I think they also may be CORE.

I have also exchanged private email with VTHOKIE and he is not Charlie in my opinion

VTHOKIE: I'm truly impressed. You have been around a long time and never before mentioned your personal connection to "Our Benefactor" (at least not that I can recall). Forget the "Angels", you could have been a secret agent with such discipline!
