04 AWD 3.5 Front rattles

I was going to trade my 04 Vue 3.5 AWD 55k fully loaded for a 3.6 FWD 09 VUE XR. I the deal fell thru only wanted to give 7k for a trade. Decided to keep her the problem the front is making that rattle sound when I go over bumps thats driving me crazy last summer was the wheel bearings. I going to try and have it fixed in the nxt couple of weeks. The dealer replaced the front stabilizer bars that did noting took it to a independent shop drove it with a tech car wouldn’t produce the rattles. What are parts that am looking for that could be making that noise any help would be greatly appreciated.

mrpawalker ... I searched using words - Vue front end noise - results follow.

BTW - probably strut mounts - if so, you can duplicate by aggressively "bouncing" front vehicle front end.

try looking at your control arm bushings...i have a FWD 3.5 04 and it sounds like yoiu have the some sounds that mine was making and they tried to fix alot of stuff but it never worked till they fixed the control arm bushings...

ija2547, do you mean the front stabilizer bar bushings?

I agree. Try the control arm bushings. I changed mine myself and it quieted it right up. It was a definate clunk when hitting a bump. Not a squeak or "crunch"

I have an 04 AWD, my noise was cured by replacing the lower control arm bushings. Great drive.
