I just bought a used 2002 3.0 Vue from a local dealer. The moment I drove away, the SES light came on. I checked it and it gave me P2176 and P0700 error codes.
I went and took the throttle body apart, I didn't notice any loose connections, but I haven't had a chance to look too closely. I did notice that the gasket was worn out and possibly not covering the entire opening. Would this cause the code?
If this isn't the cause of the code, is the car still okay to drive? I'm planning a weekend trip and need to know what the experts think on this. Thanks.
