Brake pedal noise

I was wondering if anyone has the same noise. When I release my brake pedal, I get a squeaking noise. It sounds like a loose spring. Was going to look under the dash next weekend (next free day) to see what's causing it. Has anyone else had this noise? If so, did WD40 fix it?

I'm just back from garage after trying the brake pedal ... quiet - no noise.

The Vue is 05 3.5L with 40,000 miles.

Mine does it too. Never figured out what it was.
