Saturnfans T-Shirts and Polos??

How about a decent SaturnFans T-Shirt and possibly a Polo shirt Charlie? You could have them made up in a nice quality for not too bad of change & then sell them from this site. It would offset some of the many hours you spend on this thing and let you make a couple of bucks while giving the SaturnFans something to wear (or give away to some homeless paper vendor).

Something like 16 for a dual sided t-shirt and 28 for a polo would be great. You can have the t-shirts done in nice beefy-t for about 9 bucks a shirt and nice outerbanks type polos for about 20. Add 4 bucks for priority mail and that would be a good thing.

Anyone interested in such a shirt?

What would be fun is to have some sort of contest: see who can come up with the best design or something. Charlie could sell them via cafepress - the winner could get a free t-shirt or something.

Anyway, just an idea! I've thought of it before...glad someone mentioned it!

Anyone interested in such a shirt? Good idea, Piney. I've been putting together plans for the past year to offer SaturnFans merchandise. I am finally at a point where I think I can offer quality products at a reasonable price. Before I offer an assortment of merchandise, I am going to "test the waters" with SaturnFans license plate frames. If all goes well, I'll have some more SaturnFans gear online in January.

The official Saturn clothes are from Lands End. Maybe Charlie can get linked up with them and get a commission for those who he forwards there.

Of course, that's the relatively middle of the road stuff - for more radical stuff, Charlie would have the market pretty much to his own.

i dont know about you guys, but that would be cool. the saturnfans site controling the fan apparel. think about it, charlie could have his own little "saturn fan" monopoly, in a way

Charlie... if you do make a T-shirt, can I suggest you look into getting permission to print the Saturn logo on it. It would be awesome for you to have their "blessing".

We, as a community, have to be prepared if and when the next Saturn Homecoming takes place. Wouldn't that be great. All your saturnfans walking around in your T-shirt... easy to pick out in the crowd... You could meet us all in person!!!

If Saturn is indeed looking at what "we" the consumer thinks about their products, they must be reading our posts and our forums from time to time. I have looked and don't think there is a larger forum one then this one.

So, if Saturn sees we want something, maybe they'll let us have it. Or maybe not. Just a consideration.

Not me, that's for sure. I get ripped on for liking Saturn cars and I still won't shut up about it. I'd love a Saturn t-shirt (for weekdays) and a polo (for church...Hey, I can't wear suits all the time). Whenever someone tells me I'm obsessed, I just tell them about the Star Trek fan who wore her uniform to court. That usually keeps 'em quiet.

I'm not sure if this is anything that people are interested in, but a friend of mine belongs to FormulaSource.com. For a little while now, they've been tossing around shirt ideas and stuff, and also have been thinking about a windshield banner-type-thing. FormulaSource like 3 inches tall to put where it's tinted on either front or rear windshield. Thought I'd throw this out in here to see the reaction.

Considering the many hours of entertainment I get from this board (and I admit that I enjoy being the Honda loving bad guy), I'll buy a couple of t-shirts and give them to Saturn owning / loving family, and possibly one polo for myself.

And I guess since I'm part of the problem with choking up this board, I should give a little something back. :)

Hooray for the shirts. I'd probably get one of each as soon as they came up. I also know a local maker who would be able to do bulk orders like this. If we can sign a petition, perhaps, we can get Saturn's permission for the shirt design. Could be cool, could be very cool.
