My '03 Vue had a bad case of the sunroof air deflector vibes at highway speed. I fixed it with thin rubber tubing, neoprene rubber cement, and paperclips to hold it in place while the cement dried. This closes the gap so that air can't whistle through between the deflector and the roof causing vibration.

I found that the metal "tabs" are too easy to spring out of shape. Mine got to the point that I couldn't tighten the deflector down.

I took it off, looked at the tabs, bent them out and reinstalled. Now the deflector stays in place.

I bent my tabs also but they loosened up after a few months, so I upped the ante with the rubber tubing.

I tossed mine the day of purchase. Those things cause wind noise and other issues. :)

I can't quite tell from the picture, but is this rubber tubing in addition to the rubber strip that came with the wind deflector? Mine has this soft rubber strip that keeps the deflector plastic from ever actually touching the painted roof surface. Did yours not have this?
