So last december my Vue started misfiring and I replaced ICM and it was fine for about a month and then it happened again. I ordered another plus coil pack and it worked for a few days. I was driving back from getting it fixed today and guess what it misfiring AGAIN. I have replaced the ICM 3 freaking times and it still doesn't work right. I replaced the O2 sensor as well cuz it went bad. Has anyone ever heard or had this problem? I am super pissed off and don't know what the hell is going on.

Replace the plugs with the ignition module.
Do the modules not have warranty?

I have a 2001 l-series 3.0 that has a 302 code that comes and goes. If i clear the codes it is fine for a few days or a few miles whichever comes first. # 2 cylinder shows it is miss firing. replaced the icm to no avail. Been told that it is the ECM. But at 389.00 plus 79.00 to program i havent changed it yet...

Did you replace the plugs? They're due at 100,000 miles and can be the source of misfiring as well as vacuum leaks in that bank of cylinders. You should be posting a separate thread (in the L-tech forum) as yours is a V6 with different electronic configurations.
