Electrical problem...04 Redline

Anyone having this problem? Interior lights flash on and off at will and doors locking and unlocking while driving. Doesn;t do it all the time but usually in the morning.

Are you sure your key fob is not causing this to happen? Sounds like the buttons are being pushed while driving...

If this isn't it, the BCM may be going bad.

I'd take the battery out of the fob and try it in the morning...

You don't carry the second one in the car where the bumps could be pressing the buttons?

Happened two differnet times with my set of keys and once with my girlfriends set when she was driving. Do BCMs go bad?

On a Saturn your BCM can go bad...

BCM's were more reliable in all Saturns by 2004. There was a high failure rate in the early L-series. Overall they've been pretty reliable on VUE's.

ok...this sounds weird but its only happening when the weather is 35 or below. and once the vehicle warms up its fine. what could cause this?

Things contract in colder weather. Clearances loosen up. Check your door switches and door adjustment.

Move your doors in and out while watching the dome lamp to see if it comes on. When it does the door that you are moving is your problem or first problem.
