Thinking about buying a roofrack for my '05 VUE and would like to know how hard is it to install. I never put one on before and would like to know what' I'm getting into. Is a one beer job or 6 beers?

It can be a bear... the factory used loctite on the screws that hold the factory rails down (that you replace with the studs). If you break a screw off, you are screwed (no pun intended), and have to drill or tap it out.

Resist the urge to use power tools when backing the screws out - do it by hand.
