Changed my oil and filter today. Upon removing the old filter I realized that the fabric-like seal on the filter was no longer there!
Using a mirror and flashlight I looked around the area that the filter cap covers- nothing.
This was a NAPA gold filter. Made in Poland. I hope the screen in the sump stops any pieces from giving me a problem.
Anyone else experience this problem?
