Have had my share of problems. First it was the check engine light which I think everyone has. They replaced my fuel filler next and cap but I still get the light every once in awhile. Then I had a low coolant fluid warning light, they have yet to figure out where it leaks.
Now today, I turned the heater on cause it's a bit chilly and no heat!?!
Has anyone had this problem?? I can turn it all the way over to as hot as possible and it's just blowing cold air.

Are you sure they determined it was a leak?
Have you looked at the coolant reservoir? When a cooling system IS low on coolant, you won't get heat because not enough is getting the heater core.
do you smell burnt coolant at all? (sweet smell, like maple syrup)
Because the wife's car has the "low coolant warning", but we have found no leaks. (possible software problem)

It could also be a stuck-open thermostat, sending coolant through the radiator even though the car is not warmed up; or:
It could be an air-lock in the coolant hoses somewhere.

Hmmm, well it was about a month ago that I took it in, they said they would add some sort of dye that glowed so if it came up again they could see where it was leaking. The light just popped on a couple of days ago. There is never a puddle under the car, but I have twice added some coolant, though it wasn't like it was empty, it was just a little below the max fill line.
The guy told me last time it could have been 'air in the line' but now that it's back on I'm not so sure. Haven't noticed a smell but then again, haven't really been paying attention for that. I'll check after the next time I drive it.
Didn't think about the fact that that could affect the heater. I'll will let everyone know what I find out.

The smell is very easy to detect. If you haven't noticed it, the coolant isn't leaking outside.
Worse case scenario? Check the oil. If it looks like a chocolate milkshake, you may be dealing with a blown head gasket.

let's hope that is not a head gasket.
problem could also be that the heater control head is defective & not opening the gates to allow coolant to flow thru the heater core.
