I think I may have to get the support bearing replaced soon. I was under the car today changing the oil and flushing/replacing the coolant and decided to have a look in the back. The bearing seems pretty tight if you really try to man handle it, BUT if you just gently wiggle the rear shaft you can hear a "thunk". I'm wondering if this is the source of my drivetrain vibration when the VUE lugs in 5th at about 40-45mph.
Anyone know how much play there should be in that bearing? If any?
