Motor Drops RPM when clutch is pushed

Hi, just got a 03 vue 2.2L for a winter car and just noticed when i push in the clutch sometimes, the idle drops from 700-800rpms to about 400 then catches its self and idles normal after a few drops in rpms. Is this normal with the vue or something i need to look at to get fixed?

I don't know if it warrants a repair, but my '02 Vue has done that ever since I've owned it. Even in neutral, it'll idle 900 then drop and pick itself back up. Its odd, if anything but never seems to do damage.

Just bring it to your trusty shop if it's an issue you want investigated. I agree 100% with everyone here who has said to find a shop you are happy with, and stick with it. Even if they are a little more expensive. I can call up my GM dealership and talk to good ole' Joe who will answer my question - "Yes, thats normal" or "No, maybe you should bring it in" and there's never any bull about it.
