The carrier bearing on my '04 V6 AWD is shot (read: the race is all thats left, bearings are gone!! :eek:). I am a little disappointed as it only has 56,000 (25,000 were my miles):hmm:. It causes a nasty shake/vibration over 40mph. A shop/mechanic I trust is doing the work because I don't have the time or a press to do it. Does anyone have suggestions that I should pass on to the mechanic. I am not interested in taking it to the dealer for the service. The kit is pretty expensive at $220. If any can scan in pages from an FSM I would be grateful. Thanks!
