HELP!! Engine question!!!! HELP!!

I hope someone can answer this question for me. Can a 2002 or 2003 Saturn Vue engine go into my 2004 vue??? We thought it was just a timing chain issue but come to find out the whole motor is shot!

Please help with any information on the other year motors!!!

I think any 4 cylinder VUE motor will fit- as long as it comes from the same type of transmission. I seem to remember reading somewhere that the VTI automatic transmission used in the early VUEs had a different bell housing bolt pattern than the 5 speed manuals. I'm not sure about the newer automatic transmission compatibilities.

2002-2005 2.2L Ecotech FROM ANY GM NAMEPLATE will bolt right up and work fine. (You will need to use the manifolds and mounts from your current engine, but the blocks, heads and bellhousing bolt patterns are identical.
