My 2003 AWD V6 Vue with 110,00 miles has been making a humming sound that vibrates through the steering wheel from 40 mph and up. It has been doing this for a couple thousand miles and getting worse, sorta thumping on occaision. It does it more after it has been driven a few miles. Sounds like a bad bearing to me. it seems to be either in the center or driver's side in the front. It does not get worse on corners though, so I don't know if it is a wheel bearing or something else like in the axles or tranny. It is constant with the speed of the car, not with the engine rpm's. Any ideas? I know I can wait for the parts to be spit out!
