I am having problems with saturn vue 2003...:

on opening vehicle with remote...it is closing back immedately for itself... then sometimes flicks back and forth from open to close...
then car start for 1 second then shuts off......would not restart....
flashing headlights when car is in park......
steering wheel goes hard....stiff.....
a few times when trying to open with remote...everything is dead....remote does not work...have to enter car manually turning key on door...when key inserted in ignition everything is dead.....
only way to get car started is to disconnect battery for 5 minutes..then reconnect and car works.....

anybody having these sort of problems and found a solution please let me know....

Everything sounds like a BCM problem except the ignition. With no BCM at all the engine should run unaffected.

When the problem occurs ...The car cranks and turns over, starts but shuts down in a second or so.....but all gauges are dead....

and if its does start all gauges are still dead and power steering stiff....

however when battery disconnected for about 5 minutes and then reconnected, the car starts and all gauges are normal again.

Sure sounds like the BCM except for the engine part. You may be having two problems at once. In fact, check or have checked all underhood electrical connections for corrosion, including the grounds.

Does the Passlock security indicator stay on during starting, running, and dying? The last dying act of a failing BCM is if it enables the anti-theft system rendering the car unable to start; a tow to Saturn will be next.
