I have an 03 Vue 2.2L AWD. This past weekend, while driving, the dash gauges quit functioning along with the AC, power stering, and remote.
The day before I noticed the security light flashing while I was driving so I deactivated it with the remote. The day of, my wife ran over a screwdriver and punctured the right back tire. The vehicle began the problems the next time it was driven after the tire was repared. The next day was a holiday, so the dealer was closed. I tried the local parts house and the OBD didn't show any codes. I pulled the positive cable and let it sit for several hours then reconnected and the problem was gone for a day. Yesterday it started again with the security light flashing, then the headlights and now the gauges have stopped functioning again.
Any ideas? ECM?

Unfortunately, all those indications points to the body control module (BCM), one of three mini-computers. The ECM runs the engine EFI system. The only solution is Saturn service to confirm it or on your own with used bcm's not exactly programmed but useable and less costly from aftermarket sources. The Saturn replacement, if confirmed, has been reported to cost between $400-$600 and only done by Saturn. Read or search the threads about 'body control module' failures in early L-series/Vues.
