I need some help, my front end has been rattling worse and worse over the past month, i got the sway bar link replaced so i know its not them but took it into 2 mechanics including Saturn and they said everythign was tight. Now it is started to shake the wheel when i hit the brakes and turn the wheel slightly, its not the rotors eith but i am trying to figure out what would cause the wheel to shake at high speen braking and when you brake if you turn the wheel about an inch you can feel it. Email me please!

You have several things happening. First, if the wheel shakes when you hit the brakes, IT IS THE ROTORS. Now. What's causing the rotors to go bad may be a tire/wheel problem. You have to determine if you have bad tires or bent wheels or a combination. It could just be balance. It could be related to high pressure in the tires which ruins them and can cause a shake. Once you get a bad tire or bent wheel, every revolution it throws the rotor over against the pads and eventually wears that spot down which produces brake chatter.

Sounds like warped rotors to me.... or a bad ball joint, but you said everything was tight. I have warped rotors and it shakes under harder braking. Going to get some new ones shortly

No, this is not a rotor problem, when i hit bumps as well it makes a rattle type noise and i can feel it in the wheel, i just put new rotors on it last week and know its not them, its more of a rattling noise when i brake slowly and turn the wheel a certain way slightly. I think its a ball joint or something else, but the mechanics have said it was all tight, im going to take it in again cause its getting worse.

How many miles on your VUE? Could be a bad or worn strut that cause wheel hop when braking.

Thats sounds correct possibly, i have 100,000 miles on it but i can feel it in the wheel when i hit a bump or brake and turn my wheel a certain way slighty, if this makes any sense. ITs like a quick rattle feel then goes away, its only here and there but seems i can get it to do it while im braking and turn my wheel slightly. Any othe ideas? How can i fix this or check and make sure thats the problem, is this serious? I never replaced one so i dont know if its connected to the wheel or what?
