2004 V6 AWD Grabbing hard onto every gear

My wife's car started shifting rough seemingly overnight. The hard shifting occurs less often during high acceleration but is still present. I can deal with the 3rd gear "hiccup" but now it's doing it every time the car shifts. I changed the fluid 5k miles ago and it's still red. Is my tranny on it's way out or could it be something else? Any chance of a faulty speed sensor?

What type of tranny fluid did you refill it with?

The only suggestion I have would be to reset the ECM/TCM as described in this thread.

Did you do the "drain 4qt, refill with 4qt" method? I've only experienced those symptoms in my friend's late 80's corolla with 39 million miles on it...

My tranny flush went just as you described. I was planning on reprogramming today but couldn't find the time or my socket wrench. I am hoping for tomorrow and will post any positive changes in my rough shifting.
