I seem to be missing part of the windshield fluid squirtter. The wiper fluid pumps fine but it puddles instead of sprays on the windshield on the passenger side. The driver side seems fine and has an additional little siver nozzle. I have a 2003 Vue. What is the part called and how hard is it to fix?

I have an '03 and that was a common problem - the orifice would pop out of the little gooseneck. You need PN 22722205 - about $7 ea. from the dealer (yikes!). Rather than replace the whole assembly, I whittled down the gooseneck until I could remove just the nozzle. I pushed the nozzle halfway into the old gooseneck and sparingly applied some crazy glue, and then pushed it in the rest of the way - so far so good!

My passenger side nozzle on my 2003 also had this problem. I forked over the $7 for a new nozzle.

You will have to loosen the plastic fastener on the passenger side cowling (the plastic piece below the windshield). With a screwdriver, lift up the center pin of the fastener. Then the whole fastener will come out.

Small hands are best for the next step. Pull out the old nozzle, disconnect the hose, and replace it with the new nozzle. Refasten all and you are ready to go!

My dealer charged me $8.50 a nozzle and told me it would be $85 in labor. Got a freind to help me. Not hard, just need the right tools. Thanks for your help!!
