Anyone wanna help a brother out with how easy it is to change plugs on this 3.5L Honda engine? I can see the front 3 look fairly straight forward. However, it looks like after you get the air intake out of the way of the back three, there is no room left to get your hand in there. Can anyone say there is room? Degree of difficulty on a scale of 10? I ended up buying an NGK plug recommended from this site. I have 145K on my Vue but it is not misfiring right now. I am trying to just "do the right thing"..Your thoughts are appreciated..

Easy job, just a bit of twisting the spark plug hex tool and extension in place for the back plugs. Use a 3 inch extension to slip into hole. Then and another 3" extension to make longer. Not as back as it looks.
Do a search I posted some instructions awhile back.

cake..like stated put a 3" extension on the socket to get it in the rear holes once in the hole in the head stick the other 3" extension on and its all down hill from their, takes two hand for the rear but its still very easy compared to other v6's ive done plug changes on in the past

The tranny is doing very well...and nope...my Vue does not sit still long...I'm an adjuster and use it for work...it gets lots of road time...I have not messed with the timing belt yet...I am considering that in the very near future...

I would say that the timing belt should be the first thing on your list, it should of been changed at 100k. If that thing breaks say bye-bye to your motor.

Ok, now that I've earned my certificate on the V6 here, I have a 4 banger that I'm trying to replace the plugs in. I think I see where they might be, but...
Thanks in advance! Steven

The 2.2 has them under the DI cover. Undo a few bolts and pull it up, and the boots are below, attached to the plugs. They might be a bit stuck though, so it might take a few minutes to remove.
96,300 miles here... came off the line 6 years and 1 day ago. About due for plugs.

Hey, thanks for that info. This site has been a pleasant surprise--very informative and helpful. I have a 2004 5spd manual and just hit 124k this past week. One of the best vehicles I've ever owned.
Peace...
