New renderings representing possible coupe and wagon versions of the next-generation Saturn and Opel midsize cars have been posted online (http://www.saturnfans.com/cars/aura/sneak-peak-should-saturn-offer-coupe-and-wagon-version-its-next-generation-aura). Do you think Saturn should expend the Aura's lineup beyond just a 4-door sedan and offer them in North America? Post your thoughts.

Thanks,
Charlie

YES.

But only if they offer a convertible too! Hardtop like the G6.

Pretty pretty please?

Definitely a wagon! With SUV sales tanking due to insane gas prices, wagons make sense. This one in particular is the best wagon I have seen in years.

The wagon would be a good alternative to SUVs. The L-Series offered just as much cargo room as the Vue but in a car version. I agree too with rising gas prices, this could be a good alternative to the lust for larger SUVs. It would also be a cheaper alternative than the Saab, Volvo, and Audi wagons on the market and just as good looking.

The coupe version, YES!! Plus I think this would offer a greater range of product to increase Saturn's resurrection. It definitely would be a great altenative to Toyota Solara. It would also give those not wanting a sedan a choice.

Bring them, and bring an OPC version to boot.

By all means YES! It's high time someone at GM/Saturn pulled their head out of their ass and green lighted cars like an Aura coupe and wagon.

But don't stop there. Like Spazie pointed out, a hardtop convertible should also be included. An AWD wagon, like the Subaru Outback, should also be a part of a full line of Aura midsize cars. And yes, I vote for OPC/Red Line versions of all models.

We shouldn't have to say please. GM, Saturn, just do it dammit!

SATURN needs to get back in the game to compete with Honda! Because that new Accord coupe is pretty awesome!

We had two SUVs(Outlook and Murano) and recently downsized to a more fuel efficient wagon/hatchback. We looked at the Astra but the back end is to small and short and ended up going with a Pontiac Vibe. If Saturn would be coming out with a car like that in a year or two we probably would have waited. I agree they need a hatchback or wagon that has more room.

YES

I've been driving a 95 sw2 for 5 years now, and it's the next best thing to a small SUV.

Definately... Yes.

The couple looks great from the renderings I seen.

Also a coupe version for ASTRA also.

Some poeple just don't like hatchbacks.

Give the americans a choice. :us: Why doe Eurpeans have to get all the good stuff?

Presto chango... Just rebadge it... A wagon would be tougher until the next Episilon chassis arrives.

2 door coupe Aura Redline would be nice
If it came with a true manual and had a turbo or supercharger.

it would probably sell really good. The MPG of a car, but the space of a minivan. It may be worth saturns time to invest in one.

ABSOLUTELY!!! I would buy a sharp looking 2 door Hard Top Aura in a heart beat. GM needs to remember what happened when they brought out the original 2-dr Hardtops in 1949. Wake up, GM start doing the magic again that made you the largest corporation in the world.

HELL YEAH!! I'd be all over that wagon in a heart beat. Bonus points if there's more rear passenger room, lots of cargo space, they keep the M shifting option, and/or AWD. :D

Why? So people can take these new Saturns, fix em up, and go race all the Hondas? :ugh::snide:
