2002 Vue noise

Hello,

I'm getting a noise near the passenger side firewall when my Vue warms up. It's a 2002 V6 AWD with 89k miles. The noise is a squealing noise and it stops when you press the gas. It does not start immediately when the car starts it has to warm up first.
Can anyone help?

It could be a belt or tensioner (wheel). I could also be the waterpump. (Do you have any fluid leaks?)

You will probably need to have a mechanic look at it. The V6 belts on the L81 engine are really hard to get access to.

If it is the waterpump, you'll need a mechanic to replace it. The V6 has a lot of stuff to take off just to get access to the pump.
