Had an intake manifold leak on a 2002 Vue AWD (3.0 V-6 L81) and replaced the lower intake manifold. I am now getting a very high idle (2000-2200rpm) once the motor is up to temp (runs fine cold). Cannot seem to locate another vacuum leak. Ideas?
This is a 44000 mile used motor that was installed after a rod bearing went out on the original motor. The mechanics did remove the throttle body from the previous motor and installed it on the used motor. Their justification was that TB on the pulled motor was in better shape than the used motor.
