Hi guys My 2003 VUE V6 AWD those three light come on randomy and not all three sometimes when I start up. Then my fuel gage goes to empty. When the lights go out the gage goes back to normal. This has happened in all sorts of combination, There was a 171 and 174 code which I cleared but the wrench does not throw a code, the brake fluid is up to the line and the front brake pads have 1/8" left. This is a good one....

Man, that sounds like a crazy one you got there. The only thing on mine I sometimes notice is that the temperature gage goes to 1/4 way quicker than it should (like within a an 1/8th of a mile from leaving the driveway). :dizzy:

The same thing happened to me tonight! Same vehicle description with about 44K miles. I've had the p0128 code (under temp) service light on for a while & wasn't in a big rush to get the thermostat changed.
Anyways, tonight I was driving to the airport to pick up a friend & about 3/4's of the way there the service wrench light comes on & the warning buzzer starts going off intermittantly. After a few more miles, it became continuous with the brake & abs light flashing, the tachometer would die for a few seconds & then come back & the fuel level would drop & activate the warning light. Really strange. The car continued to run fine so there was no way I was going to stop & screw around with it at night on a highway in NYC. I finished the pickup & came back home.
It sat for about an hour & I restarted the car with no service wrench light or problems (other than service engine light I assume due to the low temp code). I'll have to see what new codes are reported due to this issue. Seems like an electrical or sensor problem.

These strange electrical problems sound like a bad BCM (body control module)

I was hesitant to say the BCM but since the cat's out of the bag and I recently advised someone else at length about the Passlock re-learn routine, all this person did was pull the battery cable off for 10 minutes and the problem went away, for now. Only time will tell in his situation, a wholly different problem from yours but neverless another attempt to fix a problem. Perhaps the same can be done, pull the battery negative cable and hope for a good reset to clear up any BCM related issues before turning to the dealer as any BCM problem will have to be replaced and programmed by Saturn.

with that type of stuff happening i would lean more towards an EBTCM rather then a BCM. USUALLY (READ Not all the time) when the BCM starts to go, the first things that dies is the power locks.
It more sounds like theres a loose ground somewhere. and that you are losing the 5v referance to a certain ground wire that is connected to those systems.
