Interior Lights wont go off

OK, I have a 06 vue. The interior light will not go off when set to auto. There is not signal on my dash telling me that a door is open (It normally does when there is one open)
I found a service bulletn saying

"VEHICLE STARTS BUT WILL NOT REMAIN RUNNING, REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY (RKE) FOBS INOPERATIVE, POWER DOOR LOCKS AND / OR INTERIOR LIGHTS INOPERATIVE OR UNRESPONSIVE TO COMMANDS, DTC U0140 SET (REPLACE BCM). *KB"

I am wondering if this could be the problem. My locks have not been locking when placed into drive. (it use to)

do your power locks work at all? That is usually one of the first things to die when the BCM ****s the bed. Then the car wont stay running. As for the lights. I wouldnt be surprised if it was one of the door switches. God knows ive done enough of those. I'd get it properly diagnosed, before you condemn the BCM. Its not exactly a cheap fix.
