Hi I've read a few posts about stalling and the possible cause being the Crank Position Sensor, or security system issues.
1. I've had intermittant trouble with stalling on start up and when idling. Today it would turn over, but then shut down immediately (would not run at all, even after leaving it for a few hours and re-trying)
2. My power door locks do not work, either from inside the vehicle or with the keyless entry remote (none of the features on the keyless entry were functioning).
3. The overhead internal lights remained lit although the vehicle was not on.
I had to removed the fuse for the cabin lights
4. When I turn up the radio volume on my steering wheel control, it changes the CD track or radio station or only moves up two degrees and then cuts back to the clock
I had it towed to the dealer tonight. Any ideas on how I should direct them with regard to fixing this ie: relay? some other electrical problem perhaps? security system? would the CPS cover all these symptoms?:|
