use a small tool to remove the door handle cover (wood trim). there are 2 screws there, remove them. also there is a screw on the bottom of the door should be under the speaker (rear door). then pry from the edge in the front and it should come off with no problem.

Ok so Im going to guess on this one...
The wood panel you talk about must be on the decked out vue. mine is just black and silver. I haven't tried pulling that off yet but will soon.
There are no screws near any of the speakers, unfortunately.

yeah then the silver panel should be right. if there are no screws on the bottom of the door panel then they should be behind the handle cover. remove those and slowly pry off the door panel. if it is binding and not comming off easy then stop ane check for more screws.

In order to remove that rear door panel (interior), pop the silver trim off the door pull. use a small (jewelers) screwdriver and remove the black trim piece behind the silver door latch. Now, you have three bolts exposed. Use a 10mm socket with a 10-12" extension. Remove them and set them aside.
On the rear of the door (by the latch), use your jewelers screwdriver and remove the two plastic clip pins. set with the bolts.
Now, using a panel removal tool, or a large flat screwdriver, start in the bottom rear of the door, insert tool and pop panel off. Follow along the bottom until the door is hanging from the top.
Gently lift the panel up off the sill-plate and pull out about 3 inches. from the rear of the panel gently pop the door latch mechanism from the panel. twist it to sit out the hole. Place panel where you won't step on it :).
Installation is the reverse with one MAJOR exception. When you put those three bolts back on, forget the ratchet, HAND TIGHTEN ONLY. Over tightening them will break the plastic and the handle will fall out (no, the retaining clips do not hold up well). If this happens, you have to buy the ENTIRE panel for a cost of around $313.00 +tax US.
Good luck, I just installed a new amp and speakers, rewired the whole car, I removed all the panels, in and out, as well as the seats.
