Hey, I was hoping that someone could help me . I just bought a Nextar NC990c. I was hoping that someone may have the wiring diagram for the vue.
Thanks

What year? I have 2006/07 schematics for radio (with or without amp), courtesy of Dante (I think).

Here is something I found regarding this radio :

Nextar NC990C (Canadian Tire exclusive) / NC990

UPDATE - APR 11-2007
Don't buy this deck! - Really!
I have had two of these and the CD-Player has failed on both units.

Also - Nextar support is...well... impossible. (read unresponsive, and not helpful!)

You have been warned.
/UPDATE

UPDATE - May 12-2007
I see Canadian Tire has this one on for $99 this week. Don't buy it.
My new Sony works great! The Nextar will find a nice space on my workbench I'm sure....
The Sony can illuminate green (...just like my car), and the face is black, and has a dimming feature, no groovy graphics, and the USB port 'works right'. Hrmmm, Sony might have been reading my website...
On the downside, I may miss the SD slot.
/UPDATE

Features:
-Audio CD/Data CD/SD-MMC/USB/AM-FM Tuner
-25 Watts (RMS)
-5 Channel pre-out's
-Remote Control
-Removeable Face
-Bonus: 256Meg USB Key/MP3 Player

Likes:
-Good Amp (Clean/Powerful)
-Lots of input options (CD/USB/SD-MMC)
-Remote (Button Layout Great!)
-Can program startup volume for ignition key-on
-Looks kind of cool

Dislikes:
-Can't turn off goofy spectrum analyzer "graphics"
-No dim feature for screen at night. (Way too bright!)
-Button layout poor on head unit.
-Navigation tricky.
-Reading mp3 data can be slow from CD
-Cannot hold screen state (Toggles between ID3, and Track/Tracktime)
-Cannot hold clock screen.
-Timing bug for slow usb devices, seems to timeout after playing some songs and toggle to SD

Bugs:
-Select input medium (SD-MMC), Select Random, Plays Random as expected. Select alternate source (FM Radio), return to (SD-MMC), current song resumes but is not under random selection control anymore. When song completes, sequential play resumes from that point.
-Audio CD does not resume play from "where it left off" at key on. Resumes at beginning of track.
-USB input seems to have a subtle timing bug with my HDD based Lyra MP3 player. (I need to select USB several times, and sometimes will give up reading USB, switching to SD.

Wish-list:
-Black - instead of silver.
-Turn off goofy spectrum analyzer "graphics"
-Dim feature for screen at night
