Here is a link to when it happened the first time and I didnt know what was going on with it.

The update is we took the car to a different dealer and they found the problem - after first denying anything was wrong - husband had to point it out to them. So they fixed it...

The other day my husband was working on his TA and I remembered about my problem so I popped the hood to check if it ever came back. It is back and worse than before! Now its seeping out of the valve cover too! It just sucks that I have to leave my car again, and this time we want them to keep it so the seal can cure instead of driving it off right away. But I dont want to leave my car, it scares me to do so with my stereo in it. Also we have had a baby and I need a loaner which they never want to give out, and it needs to be a BIG loaner to fit 3 kids.

This sucks.

Sorry to hear of your recurring problem with the oil leak.

IMHO, you should call the service manager and get the details of the repair worked out. You mentioned a second dealer that you went to (assuming the first was of no help.)

You can also schedule a visit to the manager to talk about the forthcoming repair (and bring the kids!). That may help your case for a bigger loaner car.

If the service manager is of no help to you (and you are sure this is absolutely related to the first repair), go up the food chain to the regional manager. State your case, have the paperwork, be nice and non-threatening, but stand firm on your insistence the car be properly fixed.

There are other folks here on the boards that are much more knowledgeable about the repair to the seals and what should/could be done to fix your problem. Hopefully, they will give some good advice to you.

Hope this is a small bit of help to you.
