hi i have a new 08 vue i was wondering what size wheels and tires would work best with the vue. i was thinking 18 inch wheels or 20 inch. 18 would probably work better ? anyone have any 08 vues with after market wheels? any pics ? thanks alote

While I don't have my owners manual handy, I seem to recall something about using wheels and tires other than the same as "original equipment" may void your warranty. Check it out before buying "oversize" wheels and tires.

i'm also interested in the stock bolt pattern and backspacing of factory wheels to see what can fit on there. anybody know these specs OR if they are the same as previous saturn vues?

To add to Tamigood, my '08 Redline's hub pilot is 70.27mm per saturn. I have acutally been down this path and I am currently thinking that getting my factory rims chromed may be the direction I am going toward. You will hear alot about fitting a 5x114.3 on a 5x115 bolt pattern but all the guys and gals I have spoken with say you get a bit of a vibration at higher speeds and it is not recomended; plus I bet it would void the warranty on the suspension. Good luck!

The front brake caliper is very close to the rim. This could be a problem when considering aftermarket wheels. I was considering ordering new rims for mine but will hold off for now.

How so? Larger rims or same size will fit with no problems. I have the 18" on my Redline and I could increase brake size by at least 1" because there is so much space between the caliper and rim on the Redline.

Were you looking at the front or the rear? Take a good look at the clearance between the wheel spoke and the brake caliper on the front wheel.
It is very close. The wheel design not the diameter will be the determining factor.

If you get the same off set/backspacing as stock, you'll be just fine.
