For the last month when starting up the Vue there is no digital radio light display... then after about 2-3 minutes the radio display lights come on. Also, just the other day when starting up there were no dash lights (digital mileage, etc) for about 20 miles and then they popped on but went off again another 10 miles down the road. Any ideas appreciated... possible short? module? fuse?
-thanks

Yeah, the Honda v6 plays havoc with the instrumentation...pull the v6 and drop in a dependable Ecotec I4.....:D Seems to me, that the v6 doesn't like the GM wiring system.....;)

I had my instrument lights go out, and stay out due to a blown fuse (my fault - wiring genius I am :hmm:). The problem was that I couldn't find the fuse (passenger footwell panel) and had to take it in. They found it in short order (excuse the pun). Intermittant dash lights may point to a bad BCM, but I would check all the BCM fuses in the passenger footwell panel first....
BTW - do you have the dash light brightness switch turned all the way on?

Mellissam........... You are some smart cookie! You solved the problem. Some time ago my wife had the Vue detailed and someone had turned the brightness switch all the way off so that it caused the lights to come on and off when bumping along on the road. I have worked on cars for over 30 years and still overlooked the obvious. I feel like a fool..... Kind of like saying my TV doesn't work and then someone suggesting that I plug in the TV... :~)
Thanks for your help to some of us slightly mentally challenged.

Yes. Yes she is. You will find many people here know a lot about their vehicles, especially Mellissa.

I just purchased a used 2006 vue and have this same issue, I opened the fusewell. How do I know which fuse is blown?
