anyone replace side windows?

I need to remove/replace the front pass side window in my '04 VUE. anyone ever do this?

I can look up the procedure in my FSM when I get home tonight. But my guess would be that you'd need to remove the outer door skin to get access to the attachment for the window regulator. Probably fairly straight forward once you get the door skin off.

You only need to remove the inner door panel to get the window out.

Front Side Door Window Replacement
Removal Procedure




Remove the inner front door trim panel.
Remove the front door water deflector.
Lower window to access window bolts.
Remove the window bolts.
Pull the window out of the window regulator guide plate.
Slide the window down and out of the primary glass run channels.
Remove the window by tilting outboard and pulling the window out of the door through the door belt opening.
