Hi,
I was looking underneath the VUE and I noticed that there is a leak between the engine and the transaxle. It looks like the seal is going. This just happened in the past week, as I did my oil change last Saturday and all was dry underneath.
I have 105,000 miles on the VUE. Has anybody had the seal replaced and how much? Was it at a dealer or a tranny shop?
I just looked at my service invoices and I had a leak back at 14,000 miles. They wrote it up as a transaxle oil leak, passenger side. If I remember, this is the same place. It was right where the engine bolts to the tranny.
The repair was Seals, Axle - replace right.
According to my invoiced it was 1.90 hours in labor, but no price since it was under warranty.
