View Full Version : 2007 Vue Stereo/speaker Problem

I am having issues with the sound quality of my 2007 Vue. The front passenger speaker is louder and sounds better than the other speakers. If I use the balancer, I have to move it 4 or 5 spaces to the left to make the driver speaker equal to the passenger. The dealership said that the speakers are not blown. They tried to pull the master fuse to reset things. Didn't work. They replaced the radio, didn't work. They replaced the driverside speaker, didn't work. They say the speaker is not reaching the higher tones, but they don't know what else to try. Anyone else have suggestions or have a similar problem? The radio I have is the upgraded stereo with CD and mp3 player.

Replace the passenger speaker?;)

Replace both with new higher quality speakers... you will notice a big change...

When you fade to one side to balance the front speakers what happens to the rear pair?

The rear speaker sound stays the same. I can turn the volume nearly completely up, and the speakers sound better. The speakers (except the front passenger) are not that loud anyway. One of the service techs recommended adding an amp, but so far that has been ignored. The dealership wants me to sit in another Vue to hear the sound in it. So far, I have not found another Vue with this issue.
