Tennessee Senators Fight to Save Spring Hill Plant

The carmaker is planning to close several more plants, shed another 21,000 jobs, and dump its Pontiac brand as part of a restructuring designed to win further taxpayer support. Corker said he expects a decision on which plants will close within 30 days. He said the Spring Hill plant was brought up three times during the joint meeting with several other senators.
