Saturn of Reading Looks Ahead to Penske Change

Tony Lucia from Reading Eagle: The announcement that General Motors would sell its Saturn unit to Roger Penske and his Penske Automotive Group had an immediate impact on Saturn of Reading, Muhlenberg Township. "We saw a (sales) bounce right away," said Kate G. Goodman, owner of the franchise. "The good word of mouth and excellent reputation that Roger Penske carries with him and his organization I think is very positive," she said. "There was a lot of uncertainty in December when General Motors announced that they were discontinuing the Saturn brand," Goodman said, "and I think that Roger Penske partnering with Saturn has done a great service for the company. People just feel positive about it all around."
