I have a completely rebuilt 99 SL2 5spd for sale. Dayton, OH area.
Motor completely rebuilt with ALL new parts, including pistons, rings, bearings, valves, valve seals, crankshaft, timing set, lifters, fuel injectors and o rings, cam cover & gasket, EVERY engine sensor..... (ECT, crank, knock, OPS, MAP, TPS, IAC)...
Professionally machined flywheel, brand new clutch, brand new hydraulics...
Completely rebuilt 5 spd, synchros, quill bearing, shift bushings....
Brand new factory brake pads and rotors, cleaned and adjusted rear brakes, at least 60% tread on all tires. New muffler strap, a/c ice cold, coolant fresh, PS fluid clear, no leaks any where. Any fluid.
Has sunroof, works, but needs help to shut, just needs motor to fix. A/C, rr defog, cass, ABS, trac control, pdl, and RKE/ Saturn Security System.
Body is in great condition, paint is ok. Some scratches, but nothing too bad....
I built this car as a long term keeper car to commute to work and back, but due to the wife being 7 1/2 months pregnant, and needing cash, I need to sell this thing. It needs nothing, not for a while. I would sell this car to my mother. Nearly every part on motor and trans is new, should last a very long time. $3500 OBO. I have over $2800 in parts in it, and over $3200 invested in it. Buy this car, you wont regret it.
