I have 2 sensors that came off of a 92 sl2 manual transmission. They were pulled off the transmission at 121,000 miles, and were in working condition when pulled. I don't have pictures, please don't ask for them.
The speed sensor is in fantastic condition, looks like new to me. The reverse gear sensor works, but the plastic for the wiring harness connection is partially broken, however the harness does stay on and the water seal does still work.
