Description: Up for sale is my first car, owned since 2005 @ 172k. Currently has 227k, but I rebuilt the engine 2 years ago. 4,000 mi. on fully rebuilt engine. Over $5k invested.

Engine & transaxle: bored 1mm over, new crank, bearings, new head, overhauled cooling system (water pump, thermostat, rad & heater core flushed, new overflow bottle w/ sensor), new ICM, new coils, plugs, wires, stage 2 clutch, 9.8lb aluminum flywheel.

Exhaust: stainless steel 4-2-1 header & downpipe, Magnaflow hi-flow cat, 2 x 18" resonators, a Flowmaster 60 series rear muffler, flanges welded in. Exhaust system unbolts at the downpipe / header connection, after the catalytic converter, and mid-bend across the rear subframe.

Suspension & chassis: new rear wheel bearin, custom painted wheels, new tires, converted to manual steering, new sway bar bushings front & rear, new rear trailing arm bushings, new rear sway bar end links, new pass. side axle / CV joint, brakes in front are at 50%, rear brakes are 2 months old, new handbrake.

Many other small parts & repairs - all repairs logged by date, and I recorded gas mileage every tank since around 2007.

I love this car dearly, but there are miscellaneous small foibles that annoy me, and I lack the time to fix them: there is a rattle in the rear, you must start the cold engine with throttle depressed to ensure correct running, the rear hatch operates only by key, the interior panels are currently removed & are painted maroon, cruise inop., AC inop., and rarely there is a small dead spot in the throttle. Obviously I'm being honest about the vehicle.

Even with its foibles, the car gets 28-29 mpg around town, 36 mpg highway. Dry and clean underneath. It is a blast to drive. 128hp stock, which isn't much, but the car only weighs around 2400-2500 lbs, and has 60 cubic feet of storage with the rear seat down.

Selling this car will be very hard for me, but spending the time getting my peppy commuter car in shape is a big task. I would love to sell it to a young kid who will enjoy driving the snot out of it at times, and saving on fuel the rest of the time. That's exactly what I've done with it and I love it for it.

Included with sale: 4 x 4x100mm stock steelies (tires shot), extra valve cover gaskets, some exhaust manifold / flange gaskets, all interior panels.

Available with sale: Saturn factory service manuals, Haynes repair manual.

Come meet the car and I'll tell you everything about it.
