Description: Well, the time has come. This Saturn has been with me for 9 years and nearly 150k miles. I have had it since 33k, it is now crossing 180k and I drive it every day.

The good: I drive it every day, it runs great, I average 34mpg on a tank even with a bike rack on top, and when I pay attention to my driving without the bike rack I average 42mpg on several tanks. (This is measured with my scan guage.) The interior is in great shape with far less wear than you would expect. Everything electrical works, factory stereo without blown speakers, AC blows cold, window defroster defrosts.

The bad: the hood and bumper cover were replaced after eliminating bambi's mom a couple years ago. Then a few weeks later an old fart in a minivan pulled out in front of my wife and she tapped him from behind, cracking the new cover and putting a small fold in the front of the new hood. I bent it back with the intent of filling the small dings and repainting, when my 5 year old and I decided to have some fun and cover it in scrap sign vinyl we had. (Similar to vehicle wrap vinyl, but done in lots of wrinkly pieces instead of one smooth sheet.) So you'll want to take that off maybe. The exhaust hanger near the muffler has rusted out so the tail pipe rattles a bit. There is a pretty good shake at 65mph , but my commute is on 55mph roads so I haven't done anything about it. 99% sure it is a tire problem. Feels exactly like an unbalanced tire and these donuts are several years old and about 75k miles into their 80k lifetime. There is one code showing, p0133 which is the front O2 sensor, easy to get to but I wasn't going to buy one until my gas mileage suffered or the car ran poorly. It doesn't seem to care. Last of all, it started going through coolant about 3 weeks ago. I worried it might be the head gasket, but I'm not throwing any smoke. So I kept an eye out for a leak and still have yet to find anything underneath it. Looking down inside there is some wet at the bottom of the engine, it looks like the water pump or at least the connection of the water pump to the block may be the culprit, only leaking when the car is hot and running. I keep a gallon of distilled in the trunk and top it off when the low coolant light shows.

All that being said, it is driven 40 miles daily and has given me no reason to distrust it. If I weren't moving across the country and had to take 2 other vehicles already, I would keep it. I appreciate the advice I have gotten on this forum in the past and wanted to offer it up for sale here before I hit the bay of E or CL in a week or so. Will have pics up soon, I need to take the bike rack off. Shoot me any questions I haven't addressed.
