Looking for:

I am looking for the piece of trim that is in the center dash piece above the radio and below the center AC vents. There are three switches -- traction, defrost, and a blank -- and the piece that these switches insert into that form the frame for these three switches. I am looking for this piece. It is a 1996 SC1. Color is not that important, but dark grey preferred.

Yes I do. I thought I bought one form someone, but what they sent me is the trim piece that surrounds the radio and Ac. So I guess I ma not being clear. There is a small piece (about 8 inches long) with three switches - I need that piece but without the switches.

Sorry for the delay, I didn't get notification from SaturnFans that there was a reply to the post. Let me take pictures of what I have and send them to you...

Yes, in your pictures it is the smaller assembly with the switches -- but I don't need the switches. I just need the piece they assemble into, and that piece clips into the larger assembly.

I'm not sure how to remove the switch buttons from the unit. Clearly they are separate since some of these have traction control buttons and/or fog light buttons, and the buttons with functions can be depressed. But I don't want to break anything playing with it.
If you want I can send the piece in the fourth photo toward the bottom that has the 3 buttons, and you can swap your switches into this piece.
Or I can send the whole part in the second photo that has the 3 buttons (and the circuit board and the bottom pieces too), and you can directly swap that in.
I also have a switch unit that only has the rear defroster button/switch - no traction control or fog light abilities. It is not pictured. If you want I can send that and you can swap your switches and all into it.
