i should have added some info about the engine..
The engine was rebuilt before i bought it. The previous owner claimed 11k at that time and i added about 20k on to that since I've owned it. The engine ran perfectly, and leaked no oil. The car was totaled in an accident so i pulled the engine and junked the car. The impact was to the rear of the car and it drove fine after the accident.

I have not taken the compression. 98 was 3rd gen.
