I am selling my 1997 Saturn SC1. I am moving with my husband overseas and the military will only ship one of our cars. The car is in good condition and the only thing that is wrong is lately the gear shift is getting stuck in park and requires a wiggle to pull it out. The reverse slam issue that most of these models have was corrected in the winter of 2006. I have had no problems and use the car solely to drive to and from base. The car gets great gas mileage between 32-35mpg on the highway and 27-29mpg city. The car has a dent on the hood (slightly visible in the picture with the Ion) and the clear coat is peeling on the spoiler. The engine was replaced in the spring of 2006 and currently has only 30k miles on it. It's a great car and I will miss it dearly!! My husband will be the one to negotiate anything as I don't want to be around when the car exchanges possession.
