I have a valve cover from a 1st gen. 91 SC. I believe that it is an 8 bolt. I will check tonight. SUFJFJ4@yahoo.com.

No, the one from the 1991 SC is a 12 bolt. I have an aluminum cover painted blue from a 1995 SL2 that will work. Its a 10 bolt, and your 1997 SL2 is either a 10, 11, or 12 bolt. It will bolt right on even if missing a bolt hole or two

PM me if you want pix or price.
