'97 SC2 Rear Right Tail light assembly

Hi All,
Every since I got my car 2 years ago, it's leaked water into the taillight and causes the right blinker to stop working occasionally. Not sure how it was done, but there's a 2 inch gash along the top of the assembly that I think the water is coming from. I tried sealing it, but there's still water in there after the recent storms. Might be another leak from somewhere.
Anyone got a spare laying around? They're pretty expensive from the dealer.
