Description:

1996 Saturn SC2 - 5 Speed - for sale $2750 - Black Gold in color.

This car is located in Roselle, IL just South of Schaumburg, IL

I am selling a 1996 Saturn SC2 with around 155,000 miles. The engine plus every other part listed below is BRAND NEW and has less then 4500 miles on them. This car was dynoed at aprox 120 HP to the wheels. With some more tuning and a full stand-alone computer I am sure there is potential for around another 20 to 30HP.

** This car is currently sitting in my garage with a spun bearing. It will require a new bearing and the crank will need to be machined to work with the new bearings. Email for more info. I had offers around $4995 when it was running but on the last race the bearing spun. I just don't have time to pull the engine and get the crank fixed or I would fix it and sell it for more. Here is your chance at a really great race Saturn for a steal of a deal **

All NEW Parts listed below: (I also do have receipts for all of the work and parts). Pretty much all of the internals were from http://www.streetdesignauto.com/index.htm?c36.htm&1
Every part they have as far as engine components including bearings, pistions, rings, valves, valve seals, race cams, fully ported head, fully ported intake. Only item internal that was stock was a set of brand new Saturn rods from Saturn (lighter weight and the forged was not needed since I am not running NOS or forced induction).

Body of the car is in nice condition, but not flawless. (Some scratches but it is fast!!!).

- Brand new Saturn block bored out (post 2000 block which is much stronger).
- Compression is now 10:1
- Fidenza Alumium flywheel (8lbs).
- Fully rebuilt Transmission
- Quaife LSD
- ACT Clutch
- Full engine balance with flywheel and rotating assembly.
- Steet Design Auto Motor Mounts.
- SPS bored out Throttle Body.
- Replaced brown dash with a black dash.
- Autometer gauges - oil pressure, oil temp, water temp in custom gauge pod.
- New alternator, fuel pump, starter (all parts from Saturn direct).
- New Saturn timing chain and guides.
- New open air intake, MSD coils, MSD wires, NGK copper plugs (changed regularly).
- Custom SS 2.5" exhaust with first generation OEM header and race Catalytic Converter (will pass emissions).
- Full KYB struts.
- H&R Race Springs (car is lowered).
- 16mm SPS sway bar and poly bushings.
- New CV-joints and axels.
- New Wheel Bearings.
- Fluidyne Alum Radiator.
- All fluids are Synthetic.
- New All Season Tires.
- New OEM Rotors all the way around.
- Wheel Spacers and Hub Spacers (the car sit around 10mm wider).
- Race brake pads up front, new rear OEM pads in rear.
- Plus Much More!!!!
