Hi, I am looking for a working egr for a 93 SL2 for cheap. Got a code 26, so it might be that. Don't want to spend a lot and that might not be the problem.

I think when our EGR valve begins failing we get code 32, and sometimes codes 32 and 26 at the same time. Code 26 without code 32 might not indicate the EGR valve is failing. Do more research before buying a new or used EGR valve...

Normal cause for code 26 is cannister purge valve or EGR solenoid.Like previously mentioned do a search here for diagnosis. Don
